Röhsska museum (GC), SE

The Röhsska museum of Design, Fashion & Decorative Arts in Göteborg, Sweden was founded in 1904 and opened to the public in 1916. At the Röhsska museum you can follow the design- and fashion evolvement over time in the permanent exhibitions while the temporary exhibitions reflect contemporary design issues. The collection consists of textiles, furniture, glass, porcelain, fashion, book bindings, wood prints & art and is constantly enriched with both contemporary and antique objects. A large part of the museum’s design exhibition is dedicated to Art Noveau and Jugend objects. The museum has a rich collection of both Swedish and International Art Noveau and jugend objects.

Role in the Partage Plus project: In the scope of the project the Röhsska museum will digitise 400 Art Nouveau objects from its collections (furniture, fashion, books, glass and porcelain).
