National Museum Warsaw and Partage Plus project awarded with the Sybilla 2015 prize

The National Museum Warsaw (MNW) received the Polish Sybilla 2015 award in the category "Best Digitisation Project" for the participation in the Partage Plus project. The international project kicked off in March 2012 with the aim of digitizing and 3D scanning more than 79.000 art works from the Art Nouveau period. All items were made available via the Euopeana platform and can be accessed under the following link. The Partage Plus team, composed of 25 partner institutions from all over Europe, feels immensely honoured by this award and thanks the organizers of Sybilla 2015 for this mention.

Romagna Liberty & Italian Liberty Photo Contest

We would like to draw your attention again to the exhibition "Romagna Liberty" and the "Italian Liberty Photo Contest" both organized by Andrea Speziali. The exhibition on Italian Liberty titled "Romagna Liberty - Ville e opere d’arte Liberty in Romagna tra Otto e Novecento" will be on view until July 31, 2014. Visitors have the opportunity to study Art Nouveau artworks and architecture by artists such as Gustav Klimt, Domenico Baccarini, Pietro Melandri, Alessandro Mazzucotelli, Mirko Vucetich, Paolo e Ezio Somazzi, Silvio Avondo, Achille Calzi and many more.

The Italian Liberty Photo Contest is set out to survey the cultural heritage of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco period in Italy. The Photo Contest is open to everyone who admires the beauty of the fin de siècle: professionals and amateurs, students, tourists … The contest is free and will run until October 31, 2014.
