National Museum Warsaw and Partage Plus project awarded with the Sybilla 2015 prize

The National Museum Warsaw (MNW) received the Polish Sybilla 2015 award in the category "Best Digitisation Project" for the participation in the Partage Plus project. The international project kicked off in March 2012 with the aim of digitizing and 3D scanning more than 79.000 art works from the Art Nouveau period. All items were made available via the Euopeana platform and can be accessed under the following link. The Partage Plus team, composed of 25 partner institutions from all over Europe, feels immensely honoured by this award and thanks the organizers of Sybilla 2015 for this mention.

Art Nouveau World Day: "The Nature of Art Nouveau" - Riga

Big interest in 2nd Art Nouveau World Day: travelling exhibition "The Nature of Art Nouveau" at St Peter's Church in Riga opens on June 10, 2014!

The exhibition is organized by the Réseau Art Nouveau Network in cooperation with the Association of Culture Institutions of Riga City Council and the Riga Art Nouveau Museum!

The goal of the exhibition is to draw visitors into an original discovery of Art Nouveau and its relation with nature, showing the evolution of artistic work from the idea to final products in Art Nouveau style, thanks to a richly documented iconography.
The exhibition gives the general public and Art Nouveau lovers the opportunity to understand the role of nature in art, especially during the Art Nouveau period.
