National Museum Warsaw and Partage Plus project awarded with the Sybilla 2015 prize

The National Museum Warsaw (MNW) received the Polish Sybilla 2015 award in the category "Best Digitisation Project" for the participation in the Partage Plus project. The international project kicked off in March 2012 with the aim of digitizing and 3D scanning more than 79.000 art works from the Art Nouveau period. All items were made available via the Euopeana platform and can be accessed under the following link. The Partage Plus team, composed of 25 partner institutions from all over Europe, feels immensely honoured by this award and thanks the organizers of Sybilla 2015 for this mention.

Presentation of the Partage Plus project in Zagreb

The Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb organized presentation of the
Partage Plus project on June 19, 2012. Apart from journalists,
representatives of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality, as
well as directors of the institutions that will collaborate in the
project were invited.
The project was presented by the museum director, Miroslav
Gašparović who stressed the importance of participating in such an
extensive project and the fact that one important segment of the
Croatian cultural heritage will be accessible to the European and
world cultural community. Vesna Lovrić Plantić, museum project
leader, gave a brief insight into the Partage Plus project and its aims.
Tamara Perišić, Assistant Minister of Culture and Tedi Lušetić,
Deputy Director of the Office for Education, Culture and Sports, City
of Zagreb supported participation of the museum and other
Croatian cultural institutions in this EU project.
