Art Nouveau workshop at Kallahti Pop-Up School in Helsinki, Finland on 27th April.

The Kallahti Comprehensive School, which has both lower and upper stages and in total 550 pupils, organized a new form of school education in Finland, a Pop-Up School. It included different workshops, of which every pupil had to choose three. One of these workshops concentrated on Art Nouveau and was called “Jugendpaja”. Every workshops lasted 30 minutes and took place three times during this school day. Workshop instructors were parents, but also pupils. In this Jugendpaja pupils could design their own Art Nouveau objects or fashion, color Art Nouveau stained glass coloring patterns or modell Art Nouveau styled vases or other objects. In total it had 16 attendees of 8 – 15 years old pupils.
