Open Culture 2013

Partage Plus was represented at the Open Culture 2013 event, which is organised annually by the Collections Trust. The stand enabled attendees to look at some of the work carried out in the project, preview the 3D models, understand how to get involved and make their own Partage Plus badge.

Katie Smith from the Collections Trust gave a ‘Quickfire’ update on the Partage Plus project at the Open Culture event.
The presentation centred on the fact that Alphonse Mucha would be celebrating his 153rd Birthday this July, and gave the audience, with the use of printed images, an overview of his life, work and how he inspired other art movements which included posters for bands such as Pink Floyd and The Incredible String Band. The presentation ended by asking people to contribute their Art Nouveau collections to the project, connecting with it via social media and the website, and meeting the project team in the Trade Fair for some birthday cake.
