National Museum Warsaw and Partage Plus project awarded with the Sybilla 2015 prize

The National Museum Warsaw (MNW) received the Polish Sybilla 2015 award in the category "Best Digitisation Project" for the participation in the Partage Plus project. The international project kicked off in March 2012 with the aim of digitizing and 3D scanning more than 79.000 art works from the Art Nouveau period. All items were made available via the Euopeana platform and can be accessed under the following link. The Partage Plus team, composed of 25 partner institutions from all over Europe, feels immensely honoured by this award and thanks the organizers of Sybilla 2015 for this mention.

Italian Liberty Photo Competition

The Italian institution "Associazione Nazionale Difesa Edifici Liberty" has launched a photo competition in which everybody is invited to take part!
Theme of the photo contest is the Italian Liberty style. The competition is free and will run until October 31, 2013. So in case you plan to spend your holiday in Italy you are welcome to take part in the competition and win fabulous prizes! The only thing you need to do is register for the contest, grab your camera and take about 20 pictures of beautiful Art Nouveau buildings and objects in Italy! Participants can choose from 4 different topics: Architecture, Furniture, Painting or a theme of your own choice. Email your results to the address mentioned in the information flyer. The competition is part of the project ‘‘Italia Liberty’’ conceived and directed by Andrea Speziali, expert scholar of the artistic "Art Nouveau" and author of several books on architecture Liberty.
