National Museum Warsaw and Partage Plus project awarded with the Sybilla 2015 prize

The National Museum Warsaw (MNW) received the Polish Sybilla 2015 award in the category "Best Digitisation Project" for the participation in the Partage Plus project. The international project kicked off in March 2012 with the aim of digitizing and 3D scanning more than 79.000 art works from the Art Nouveau period. All items were made available via the Euopeana platform and can be accessed under the following link. The Partage Plus team, composed of 25 partner institutions from all over Europe, feels immensely honoured by this award and thanks the organizers of Sybilla 2015 for this mention.

CT: Edit, Enhance and Enjoy Wikimedia’s Art Nouveau on 4th December!

Are you or do you want to be a Wikimedian or do you just love Art Nouveau? If you’ve answered ‘Yes’ to either of these, then sign up to Collections Trust’s free ‘Editathon’, run in collaboration with the Partage Plus project at the Natural History Museum, London 2-5pm on 4th December. The afternoon aims to improve and critique Wikimedia articles related to Art Nouveau, with the help from Jeremy Morrison, Senior Director of the 20th Century Decorative Art & Design Department at Christie’s Auction House. Free tea, coffee and cake will be available all afternoon and you will get a chance to improve the world’s free encyclopaedia! Participation is open to all and no previous experience is necessary.
