The German Documentation Centre for Art History of the Philipps-University Marburg “Deutsches Dokumentationszentrum für Kunstgeschichte – Bildarchiv Foto Marburg“ (UNIMAR) together with one of the collaborating museum partners in Partage Plus, the Institute Mathildenhöhe Darmstadt, provided information on their successful cooperation during a press conference held at the Mathildenhöhe Darmstadt on 06/12/12.

The 4th Historical Lab Conference in Portugal (January 26) dealt with the raw materials used in the Art Nouveau movement. It was promoted in the framework of the Art Nouveau & Ecologie project which is supported by the European Commission and was developed by the partner cities of the Réseau Art Nouveau Network.

Drents Museum - the Netherlands 06/02/2012-11/04/2012
Until November 4th 2012 the Drents Museum presented a special selection of advertising posters from its own collection and from the collection of the Dutch Poster Museum. The exhibition contained works of important Dutch artists working between 1890 and 1940, like H.P. Berlage, Chris Lebeau, Rik Roland Holst, Jan Sluijters and Piet Zwart.

"Gris Neutre – Imagens Revisitadas"
From January 19 until April 7 2013 visitors of the Portuguese Aveiro City Museum have the chance have a look at Art Nouveau inspired contemporary art and design.
The exhibition explains how Art Nouveau design from around 1900 can affect todays applied arts and creations.
Moreover, the exhibition in Aveiro visualizes the research process of the artists and exemplifies how Europeana can be a tool for researching information about the Art Nouveau period.

Love is in the air! Art Nouveau digitisation campaign launches on Valentine’s Day.
Do you Love Art Nouveau? If so, you will love a new campaign brought to you by the Collections Trust and being launched, appropriately, on Valentine’s Day.
From 14 February for a week, people up and down the country will be encouraged to take digital images of Art Nouveau architecture and upload it to a dedicated online Flickr image sharing platform. The images will then be displayed on Europeana to help bring the UK’s Art Nouveau heritage to an international audience.

The Design museum Gent dedicated its 2012 Cahier publication to the extensive silver collection of Wolfers. The richly illustrated Cahier 3 is written by Ko Goubert, formerly researcher at Design museum Gent. He has researched every object extensively. In addition to all silver and and other applied art objects made by Wolfers, the museum’s collection of furniture made for the private Wolfers residences is included in the catalogue. This approach contributes to a deeper understanding of the Wolfers production and of the art nouveau and art deco in Belgium in general.

From January 8 until March 15, visitors of the Northern Ostrobothnia Museum have the chance to see a small but nice exhibition featuring Jugendstil embroidery handicrafts from Finland. Especially recommendable are the home textiles of Finnish Art Nouveau designer and architect Eliel Saarinen, whose work will be digitised by the National Museum of Finland in the course of the Partage Plus project.

With a new curatorial approach, MAK – Austrian Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art has opened the MAK Permanent Collection Vienna 1900 on 20 November 2012. The exhibit has been entirely re-conceptualized, now clearly devoting a great deal more space to the theme of Viennese arts and crafts between 1890 and 1938 than it had before.
