    DmG: Ravishing Revelations

    Design museum Gent takes you on a discovery of Art Nouveau treasures in its storage, guided by two criteria: Partage Plus and ‘hidden’. To conclude the Partage Plus project Design museum Gent organises a collection presentation featuring a part of its Partage Plus selection, which shows how diverse the Art Nouveau movement in Europe was. The exhibited objects have not left the storage for decades; Partage Plus brought them to light again and stimulated broader research. This produced interesting information, which the museum wishes to share with the public through the first of a long series of collection presentations.

    DMF: Partage Plus publication

    Head on over to the website of the Design Museum Finland (Helsinki) to have a look at a brand new publication about the Partage Plus project and Finnish Jugend. Although written in Finnish, you can still admire the beautiful pictures of Art Nouveau vases, furniture, interior and graphic design that illustrate the text.

    IMM: 2nd Art Nouveau World Day in June

    In 2014, the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest is again organizing the Art Nouveau World Day, in cooperation with Szecessziós Magazin (Art Nouveau Magazine). The date selected is June 10, the anniversary of both Antonio Gaudi and Ödön Lechner – two charismatic architects of the movement, from two edges of the Europe. 2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Ödön Lechner (June 10th).

    IMM: Virtual Tour of the exhibition "Masters of Art Nouveau"

    Take a virtual tour of the "Masters of Art Nouveau" at the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest. The 360 degree virtual tour of the exhibition was created in the framework of the Partage Plus project. Moreover, the show is still on view in the Museum until 31 August, 2014. This virtual tour allows you to navigate through panoramas of the exhibition galleries. As you walk through the space, you can select specific artifacts for larger image views, close-up details, and more information.

    Exhibition: "Romagna Liberty"

    New exhibition on Italian Liberty titled "Romagna Liberty - Ville e opere d’arte Liberty in Romagna tra Otto e Novecento" will open on Saturday, April 5! The exhibition curated by Andrea Speziali will be on view until July 31, 2014.
