    MNAC: Presentation about virtual exhibition and the Partage Plus project

    In October 2013 Yolanda Ruiz from the MNAC Spain gave a presentation about a not yet published virtual exhibition dealing with books from the Art Nouveau period. These Art Nouveau books belong to the collection of Alexandre de Riquer, one of the most active artists from Modernisme. Approximately 200 people - museum and cultural heritage professionals, researchers and people interested in Art Nouveau - attended the presentation and thus were also informed about the Partage Plus project, its mission, aims and achievements.

    Drents Museum: Partage Plus 3D showcase online

    The Drents Museum in Assen, the Netherlands has set up a showcase of 3D content on their website. The showcase features three objects from the museum´s rich turn-of-the-century collection, for instance a 3D model of a brass clock by H.P. Berlage and a coffeepot with Chrysanthemums by Jurriaan Kok and Sam Schellink.

    Conference: German cultural heritage goes Europeana

    International Art Nouveau Conference & Partage Plus Meeting in Warsaw

    25 February 2014 - 28 February 2014 The National Museum in Warsaw organized an international conference dedicated to the Art Nouveau movement. "Fin de siècle rediscovered. A mosaic of the end of a century: artists, events, societies, activities" took place on 25th-27th February 2014 in the beautiful Polish capital, Warsaw. The conference was prepared in participation with the National Museum (MNW) in the Partage Plus consortium.

    Symbolism and Art Nouveau, London Partage Plus Editathon

    During the London Partage Plus Editathon in December 2013 Wikimedians and Art Nouveau lovers helped to either create, translate or significantly improve various Wikimedia articles around the theme of Art Nouveau. With the help from the colleagues from the Collections Trust and Jeremy Morrison, Senior Director of the 20th Century Decorative Art & Design Department at Christie’s Auction House the world’s free encyclopedia gained a lot of valuable new information.

    Drents Museum Magazine: Collection Online!

    In the newest issue of the Drents Museum Magazine (February 2014) readers can find an article about the successful digitisation of 2.000 objects from the Drents Museum`s collection "Art 1885 - 1935", among them some fine examples of both the constructive and the decorative movements within the Nieuwe Kunst as well as Art Nouveau furniture, glass, silverware, stoneware, ceramics and textiles.
