Over a very hot couple of days in July, Partage Plus project partners gathered together with some of their own metadata to find out how it all works. The MINT tool will standardise the data from partner institutions so that it can be fed into Europeana. The meeting was held at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), who lead work package 2.

The team learnt all about cataloguing rules, the SPECTRUM standard, LIDO, its uses and how to map their data in MINT. The aim of the meeting was to demonstrate to partners how to use the MINT tool and LIDO schema, and as partners brought a sample of their own metadata, they were able to get hands on experience of processing their metadata.
